Incoterms
FOB (Free On Board)
Seller delivers and loads goods onto vessel at origin port, handling export clearance and costs until on board. Risk transfers once goods are loaded. Buyer pays freight, insurance, and import duties.
CFR / CNF (Cost and Freight)
Seller pays and arranges ocean freight to destination port. Risk transfers when goods are on board at origin. Buyer covers insurance and import process.
CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight)
Seller pays freight and provides minimum insurance during transit. Risk transfers once goods are on board. Buyer handles unloading and import duties at destination.
MOQ
1 x 20 ft (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Unit / FCL)
This represents a Full Container Load (FCL) using a standard 20-foot shipping container. It is the most common MOQ for international commodity exports as it optimizes shipping costs compared to "Less than Container Load" (LCL).
Payment Terms
Advance Payment Terms:
The payment on delivery of goods, particularly when payment cannot be proven as the risk of this document is specific and because of their requirements to specify the long-term contract and receive their payment in the purchase stage.
Letter of Credit Terms:
The most popular term used in trade involving a bank called a Commercial Letter of Credit to secure the payment of trade.
Documentation
Export Contract:
In the focus on every step to help to establish a successful business, a crucial component of exporters documentation is the export contract. An export contract is a legally binding agreement between parties defined in the contract and the customer or the importing party, along with the description of the products, quantity, price, and destination, and the terms of payment.
Commercial Invoice:
An export document that serves as a bill to the customer for the products. It includes information and the basis of all commercial transactions between a country of export and the country of import. The commercial invoice should include the names of the parties, products being shipped, currency, and the agreed-upon price.
Packing List:
This is to provide the recipient with logistics and transport clearance so that the parties know the number of packages transported to your order.
Bill of Lading:
Issued by the carrier to an exporter, acknowledging the receipt of goods and acting as proof of an agreement to deliver them. It can also be used as the proof of ownership for the goods being transported.
Marine Cargo Insurance Policy
This insurance policy provides export protection insurance. It is essential for export and related activities on their logistics of goods products during transit. It provides coverage if any of the products in your shipment are damaged.
Certification
Certificate of Origin:
This is the most important standard requirement for any export commodity—it certifies that the product was grown and produced in Indonesia. It may be required by importing countries for tariff purposes. Regular Certificates: Regular Origin COO Certificates from government institutions (non-preferential origin certificate COO) Formal origin Goods Form A/D (Certificate of Origin Form A/D)
Health Certificate:
Issued for health certificate to confirm these products are suitable for sale, accurately represent what they are graded as processed are meet the appropriate health requirements under any applicable health standards relating to the sale of the product.
Phytosanitary Certificate:
Certified that the foreign government that the exported products have received appropriate phytosanitary clearance.
Analysis & Quality Certificate
For the exact chemical composition, result confirming quality of any and all product details focusing on its quality grading and chemical quality signals.
Fumigation Certificate:
A document to certify the health requirements compliant—proof of how the use condition products from the product has the container health standards in which application of products is done. To a safe degree, to prevent certification on it.
Quarantine Certificate:
This is to show that each consigned article passed quality examination at the final approval certificate must complete with clearly required regulations to conform to any and some regulations the country for the required destination.
